Please help,

Looking to purchase a pre-assembled piece of kit...... is this possible?

I'm based in Bournemouth, UK.

Not sure if I've posted this to the correct part of the forum......

Any help would be kindly appreciated.....

Hello Steve,

to my knowledge there are no pre-assembled kits available. See here: http://en.blitzortung.org/cover_your_area.php. A quote from this page:
Quote:System Blue contains mostly SMD parts. It will be delivered partially assembled.

Further you may get an impression of what is delivered and what has to be assembled manually in these instructions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KzPZJW0ErInFtfTCmhNhSZTOpg6N2bgZDyIxkh_DRVs/pub?1527406331

The accepted work around for not having the skills to do the assembly of the borad is to find someone who does and get them to do it. Best if they are in the same country as you, even better if they are not too far away.

How ever even with a controller board assembled you still need to house it (or buy the case), build your choice of antenna, mount them some where suitable (which may mean trying several locations), connect up, run the cables, etc. The system requires requires a reasonable level of improvisation and DIY skills.
