Heavily looped lightning - BobW - 2014-09-08

I took this photo back in 2009. It did not strike the building, as it was some distance north.
This bolt is kind of interesting, as you can see multiple loops in the main bolt, and the smaller leaders. Is this because of the magnetic effects of the current flowing?

Optical illusion - you see mostly from the side and part of it from the longitudinal direction Smile
