We're from France and we would like to join Blitzortung and own our first station.
But we've got a problem : we don't find the way to submit or "order" a station. There's someone who knows how to do ? Can you help us ?

On this page you can add your mail to the waiting list (very long) and once it's your turn, you will receive a mail with instructions. But France is a rather well covered region, this might take several months.
On the french forum there is a person still making red versions on order. Might be quicker. Or if you're lucky someone sells his blue .. doesn't happen often though

another question, do you know if we can obtain data access before the station ? our goal is study impacts of lightning in environment. we would like more informations or data about lightning impacts localisation (we would like to find the impact point, on a tree or on an electric pole for example), more precisely than the public map. it's only for private use, studying thunderstorms effects are our hobby.
No, there is no access as non owner. Also don't expect a resolution of a few meters. Depending many factors you can see it in a radius of 100-200 meters and not everywhere that precise neither (region, number of stations near and how well they are working ...)

sur ce forum peu probable .. on demande de rester en Anglais le plus possible pour la lisibilité d'un maximum de personnes. Mais comme je vous ai indiqué, il existe le forum Francophone ou votre compte a été approuvé.

Prenez contact sur le forum Français il y aura certainement un utilisateur qui pourra vous renseignez, même si le forum Français est peu actif ....
