Hey dear    ortung community,

For my master's thesis in Mathematics/Machine Learning, I would like to enrich historical weather data with lightning data to train a model that can predict severe weather and storm tracks for a region in Bavaria.
Is there any way to access the data without being a contributor? Unfortunately, due to financial, residential, and time constraints, this is not possible for me right now... 

I would greatly appreciate any response or help!

Anyone familier with research should be familier with the search funtion to this website and also be able to read the avaible documentation. I know I am being harsh but its amazing the amount of times the question is asked and answered on here.
