RE: LightningMaps.org having issues? - readbueno - 2017-11-23 Hi All, Is this problem back, I seem to have had a frozen map and no data since this morning I have tried looking at other stations stat pages and they all drop off at the same time. The Meteomelin graphs are also not updating. Maybe it is a European server problem, the other regions still seem to be showing activity. I have not experienced this before so I am not really sure. I apologise in advance if it is just something that I am not doing correctly. Cheers, Brian.
RE: LightningMaps.org having issues? - allsorts - 2017-11-24 Er, there was no lightning to speak of in Europe... that's not beacuse the blizortung region 1 servers are down, it because there really was no lightning. I checked several other sites using different data sources, they didn't have any lightning either. I am still receiving strokes at an ample rate and at good strength. Therefore, if there is no lightning in Europe why are all these and 6 pages more of stations sending so many signals to the servers. http://en.blitzortung.org/station_list.php?®ion_country=Europe&stations_users=0&sort_column=signals&sort_order=desc&limit_rows=100 And 8+ pages more! Having slept on it, there is still a problem with Blitzortung since yesterday at about 10 o'clock in the morning. Maybe, Someone tripped over the cable and pulled the plug? These attachments are from my station, but I have checked many other stations and they are all the same. Also, having slept on it, even if there is lightning at Europe it is not at a very high level! So! WHY are all these stations sending so many signals to the server? http://en.blitzortung.org/station_list.php?®ion_country=Europe&stations_users=0&sort_column=signals&sort_order=desc&limit_rows=100 And 8+ pages more. Kindest regards, Brian.
RE: LightningMaps.org having issues? - readbueno - 2017-11-24 It has been confirmed that there was a malfunction on the European server. This is now working again. Thank you to all concerned. Some of those stations however still need to look at their settings and stop swamping the server with garbage! Brian.
