Hi there,
I was wondering if there's any (additional) benefit from buying and running such hardware (except from better lightning localisation). I was thinking of a backling from the main-site blitzortung.org to my own website, where e.g. I could describe what we are doing here.
I was searching for an existing thread, but could not find. If there's one pls (re)move this entry.
Thanks and best regards,
Swissmac

Hi,
At the moment informations, 3rd party additions, tips and tricks, FAQs, are spread across forums, sub-forums and websites, possibly hard to overlook for newcomers and people who don't spend a lot of time in forums.
It would be nice to have a wiki, editable by bo-users on blitzortung.org. Maybe it could replace the "Service" tab.
Just an idea.

Hi all!
I got curious while watching live strikes:
why do stations become red?
why are distant lines blue?
why are some llines green?
why do some stations not sense even the nearby strikes?
is there a way to see the uncertainty of a located strike?
is there a way to see a history of more than 24 hours?
Kind regards,
kimmybjonsson

Hello everyone,
I'm interested in setting up a station in central Mississippi (USA) , but I'd like to know about how much data a station uses. I'd be excited to have the first station in Mississippi and help increase accuracy in the area.
BUT I have a 1Mbps upload / 15Mbps download connection and I'm not sure if it would be enough to handle all of the lightning strike data.
