System Blue Voltage regulator and antenna - SteveQlQ - 2017-08-11

Hello: I just received my new system Blue (Thank you Egon!) and am starting the assembly. I have two questions:

1  My board is marked PCB 20.4. Am I correct that I do NOT have to follow step 2.3 in the documentation? This is in regards to the voltage regulator extension.

2  In the description of system Red, there is a discussion on shielding the ferrite antennas, while in the System Blue documents it appears as if this is not necessary. Is this right?

Thank you,  Steve

1. Yep, that's right.

2. Shielding is not always necessary. It depends of your environement. On system BLUE, connect the shield to the GND input of the pre-amp if needed.

DelandeC: Thank you very much for the reply. I hope to get to the testing phase in the next few days.

Shielding of Ferrite Antennas is not necessary :-)
