System Blue Voltage regulator and antenna - SteveQlQ - 2017-08-11 Hello: I just received my new system Blue (Thank you Egon!) and am starting the assembly. I have two questions: 1 My board is marked PCB 20.4. Am I correct that I do NOT have to follow step 2.3 in the documentation? This is in regards to the voltage regulator extension. 2 In the description of system Red, there is a discussion on shielding the ferrite antennas, while in the System Blue documents it appears as if this is not necessary. Is this right? Thank you, Steve RE: System Blue Voltage regulator and antenna - DelandeC - 2017-08-11 1. Yep, that's right. 2. Shielding is not always necessary. It depends of your environement. On system BLUE, connect the shield to the GND input of the pre-amp if needed. RE: System Blue Voltage regulator and antenna - SteveQlQ - 2017-08-11 DelandeC: Thank you very much for the reply. I hope to get to the testing phase in the next few days.
