forum validation question - speculatrix - 2020-08-27

Hi,
I just signed up to the forum and it asks a question referencing the "cover your area page" https://www.blitzortung.org/en/cover_your_area.php

problem is, at least one of the questions quotes a sentence from that page, and there's no such sentence. it's the one about xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

fortunately I was able to get the forum to ask me a different question and complete the registration.

thanks
Paul

Smile The sentence and answer is there.

I just tried going to the registration page in an incognito tab

It asks this: A 'lightning discharge impulse' is a _ _ _ _ _ _.

if you search this page: https://www.blitzortung.org/en/cover_your_area.php
for the word "xxxxxx", I'm fairly sure that the sentence above doesn't appear.
I tried "xxxxxx" and it didn't work.

Try reading the page, instead of looking for
"the sentence above"...
you are indeed correct... the 'sentence' does not exist on the page...the questlion does NOT reference a sentence. It references the page.
HOWEVER:  Having written the questtion, I can assure you the answer is there.  Hundreds of folks have obviously found it.
