My RTC is VERY wrong - dhitzigrath - 2023-01-09

Hi!
My station is connected to GPS and syncronized, but the RTC, and GPS clok say that it's 2003. How do I fix this?

Thanks!

73,
Dennis

Always helps if you include your station number and user id number, so we can validate and upgrade your forum permissions!

...if you have not updated firmware to 9.4 do so.  It will NOT fix the RED controller clocks, but system RED GPS module firmware can be separately upgraded to later version.

Hi!

Station number is 2157.

Please let me access the links for the solution!
It’s a system blue, and it does have the latest firmware.

Thanks!

Hi Dennis,

seems you have firmware 9.4 running now. The year 2003 is "normal", because it's a bug in the GPS module. It is possible to update the firmware of the GPS module. Instructions can be found here: https://forum.blitzortung.org/showthread.php?tid=2456

Our next firmware of the controller will correct the date, but that's just a workaround.
