Making a copper tubing H-field antenna - Geewizard - 2025-06-02

I've seen several H-field orthagonal loop antennas using copper tubing on the forum.

How is the loop wire put inside the copper tubing?  What gauge wire?  How many turns?

Details would be appreciated!

Have fun...

Seriously, tried 'bout all types H field, over the years... below are orignal draft infos, and no doubt need 'fixing', but...
have two 'innovations' I favor, with the my 'wheelie' being number one...

Yeah, the 'specs' and stuff are rough figures, and maybe a little screwy, and poor examples, but can't beat the performance.
and
The 'CSS Thingie' ferrite:  beats heck out of any of my other ferrite builds, second only to the Wheelie for response and resonance...

Whatever theories and measurements, both prove themselves in operation.
...and, if you stick a thingie inside a "Pesky Shield", might just eliminate a strange interferer or two, plus a bit of signal enhancement.

Aw Cutty, that's just perfect! I'll build a Wheelie and see how it goes.

Thanks.

came up with some SUPER forms to wind those wheelies on... much better than my quickie proof of concept styrofoams...
