May we have an update RE: Blitzortung.org & Lightningmaps.org

Try typing in ALL CAPS it might encourage them to reply.

https://www.blitzortung.org is one site run by one person who I suspect has a real job to go to daily. The work in maintaining this system is quite a time consuming and possibly in a place where it needs significant time for a programmer to upgrade and fix things that are breaking because of random unconnected reasons for example there was a drop in signals in outer Mongolia due to a bad curry Cutty had for dinner.

http://www.lightningmaps.org/ is separate from the other site and run by another person, who again has a real job and does this stuff in their free time. With the massive number of stations and Blitzortung system that has had to modify a fair few things that had broken, lots more things for lightningmaps to fix and there just isn't the time or enthusiasm to fix it.

My system is happily recording strikes and when I look at data over my area there are strikes all the time and all is good. This is just a volunteer project run by volunteers for volunteers, it owes me nothing.
