Red system 7.4 to 8.1 network no good !
#1
Hello,
I have the RED system with version 7.4 which works fine. I wanted to move to version 8.1 but after 20 minutes there is no network connection and asked me to check the network cable. I tried version 8.0 and 8.1, the same finding, network problem !!!
Have you an idea about this failure.
Thank you and read you
JAK

I handed version 7.4 and no problem!

I don't know why this happened. Can you please update to 8.1 again and stay there for a while? Some debug output can help too. Can you provide some information about your network (i.e. DHCP, basic network scheme etc.).

There seems to be a memory allocation problem. It's not directly related to the network connection. I will investigate.

PS: Please leave the station running this way! Thanks!

The problem occurs only when the station is registered for more than one region in combination with compression. It will be fixed in the next firmware.
