Strikes shown on fixed size map not shown on dynamic size map
#1
Hi,

We have a significant storm overhead in the Shetland islands at the moment.  there are many strikes shown on the fixed size  map which correlates with our local experience.  However there is hardly anything showing on the dynamic size map ! I think there is a problem !

Hello Tony,

Do you mean the dynamic lightningmaps.org?  My guess is that you need to select both LMO ant BTO in the drop down menu on top to the left.

Also, try the newer enhanced BTO dynamic map at https://map.blitzortung.org/?y#3.71/57.39/0.36
Adjust the settings in the drop-down menu to suit.

Hover your mouse where mine is in the snapshot, then select both.

Hi,

I mean

https://www.blitzortung.org/en/live_dynamic_maps3.php

I don't see any other drop down menu except the one that leads to this link.

Hi,

I don't know where you got that page from.  I don't see it when viewing www.blitzortung.org , I only see a drop down menu for "Real Time Maps"  (and also "Historical Data" and "Further Info" and "Project Area").

Thank for that Mike, I've not seen that website before.

What is the relationship between lightningmaps.org and blitzortung.org ?

I'm reporting a problem with the blitzortung.org website that needs to be fixed.

Tony.
