If the Staton does not have a number, then it has not yet connected to the server on the Internet. The station must be connected to the Internet, otherwise it won't work. Since you were able to read out the processor ID, I assume that the station can be reached in the local network.

So, the station is now up & running although I'm not 100% sure what fixed it!  THe only change that I made was to set the noted IP address of the controller to the IP that it had been handed out by DHCP, for some reason the address noted in the GUI was for another piece of kit on my home network - it may have been an IP clash perhaps...

In any case, it's working now & I'm delighted!  Much work to be done in dealing with interference and fine tuning the antenna positions now!

Ok. Thanks.
I still get “station ID not recognised” when I try to enter it on the web page, and I can’t see it on the station list.

Maybe I need to understand more.....?

Have you registered your station on the owner's page?  If in fact your station has sent signals to the server, it should be recognized, and on your controller page, upper right, should show a number, or instruction link to register.  under 'tracker' status, should show a server connection and address.... the system WILL not recognize you IF YOU HAVE NOT sent signals.

yVega, what is your station number so we can have a look at it and move you to Participant status if you are sending signals.

You won't need to insert processor ID... if you have sent signals, and server has activated your station, the server knows it already, assuming it is associated with your user ID.  What you WILL have to do is input the correct antenna configuration, and, if you want it's data displayed on maps, etc, make sure "ANON" is "NO"...

You probably won't need to insert processor ID... unless you've taken over a station previously assigned to someone else,... if you have sent signals, and server has activated your station, the server knows it already, assuming it is associated with your user ID.  What you WILL have to do is input the correct antenna configuration, and, if you want its data displayed on maps, etc, make sure "ANON" is "NO"...
