How to calibrate new station data to match the lightning map?
#1
Hello everyone,
I just installed a Blitzortung station, and I find that the data sent to the map sometimes does not match the neighboring stations exactly. I would like to ask if there is a way to calibrate or optimize the settings (e.g., gain, threshold, antenna direction) to get more accurate lightning location results? Also, is there any recommended tool or documentation for beginners to calibrate stations?

Thanks, everyone, in advance!

Hi and welcome

If you tell us your station number, we can check on your status on the forum. You'll be able to read a lot more and find your answers since the question was asked many times in the past.

Provide station number and photos of how you have things set up. Also, a photo of your power input graph from your station's webpage would also be helpful.
Happy to help.
