I'm new to Blitzortung and have been using the lightning maps for the past few weeks. I originally found the site while tracking thunderstorms moving toward my area, and I've been impressed by how quickly strikes appear on the map.
I'm curious how other users incorporate Blitzortung into their daily routine during storm season. Do you keep it open throughout the day, check it only when bad weather is forecast, or use it alongside other weather tools?
As someone still learning, I'd also be interested to know what features or map settings experienced users find most useful for monitoring approaching storms.
