A few questions from a new user/station
#1
Hi.

Just got station 1523 up and running yesterday with ferrites and have a few questions.

1: On my statistics it says that maximum distance was 9142,6km and this is with my to 20cm ferrites placed randomly indoors. Was I really lucky with placement or is this normal and can expect to improve futher with experimentation?

2: I first booted my station at different location about 1km from where it is today. The map of stations has not updated. Do I need to do something to update the station location?

3: How do I get access to the "login" area and restricted forums?

4: Where do I update the station information? Now in the station list it only says 1523 with no info in country, comment or city.

Regards
Kaj

Hello from Greece. I m not a developer. I m a user.
Accessing the board ui for the first time will give you the link to register your station. If not contact the support team.
From there you can get to the user data section and discribe the station details.
Your position on the map must be updated itself.
And yes you may catch a lycky strike in 9000km Wink
Hope that helps....
(sorry for my english)

Can't find any info on registering the station on this site or even in on the board UI. And when I try to contact the support team in this forum I always get a
"You do not have permission to access this page" message. Can't even send them a private message...

Anyone have direct e-mail address to support team?

You may also try to go to the login page and input a  desire username and put your Processor-ID in the register code.
You can find your Processor-ID in the station ui.
You can send an email at support(at)blitzortung.org

I think I may have input the wrong email address...
once station is online, send email requesting USER ID to
Blitzortung@gmx.org
with your info...

Arrggh... Been so long since I'd registered, I didn't realize that had been simplified! Big Grin

Follow Chubros instructions!  much simpler...

On system Blue open a web browser to the IP of the station.
