I get noise from neighbors' induction cook top stoves. I have mine set to manual with amplitude filtering, which I think is an option without the ICs. Still I send a lot signals when they are cooking and what not, but in my case the ICs would not help as the noise is low and very broad. ICs are good for those near noise sources of a known frequency like HF radio stations. When you are getting noise, is it a particular frequency? Your station page on lightningmaps.org may help you determine that.
