Hey everyone, I’m new to Blitzortung and still getting the hang of things. I was wondering how the system manages data accuracy and latency, especially when there's a big storm going on. Does the system slow down or become less accurate when there are a lot of lightning strikes happening at once? And are there any factors, like weather conditions or how many stations are active, that can affect the data quality? I’d really appreciate any thoughts or experiences you can share!
Thanks so much!

That said, the accuracy can vary depending on a few things—such as how well the stations are distributed, local interference, and the intensity of the storm itself. But overall, Blitzortung's design helps to maintain a fairly stable performance even when the lightning strikes are frequent. If you're getting into the system’s inner workings and wondering about latency or accuracy during high-strike conditions, it’s worth noting that some small delays might happen, but it shouldn’t drastically affect the system’s reliability.
