How to PoE Red Controller
#4
It is not possible to power the controller directly through the Ethernet jack. (see §4.4.1 of the documentation)

So, on controller side, you'll need a PoE splitter with a Cat cable for LAN and, of course, a power cable (jack to mini-USB).

You can use your switch as injector if it is compatible with IEEE 802.3af.
