Hi All,
I am new to the forum but have been using the lightning maps for a while out of personal interest. I am now working on a research project as part of the bushfire initiative at the Australian National University in which we are modelling the potential use of drones to quickly scan recent lightning strikes for potential ignitions to allow for early suppression of any ignitions in bushfire prone areas. It would be amazingly helpful to be able to access the historical data that you have collected in order to provide realistic scenarios for this modelling. Is there any chance that this would be possible? It would be entirely non-commercial and we would be more than happy to reference the source
Many thanks,
Ryan
