OMG. Those guys are really stupid. They have other videos where they are launching a kite inside a thunderstorm. That's really dangerous:

If they add 10kV to their kite this would add around 1m in "virtual" height. Not very much, maybe there are other factors. In my opinion they just had "luck" here, in both ways. |
