9.4 Blue 19.3 Board Can't update firmware

Device says that I need to upgrade old firmware 9.4 on my 19.3 board. I downloaded 10.1 but don't know how to transfer the firmware to the device. The only access I have is via ethernet port and the IP address. The local webpage asks me my login name and password; I enter both and it lets me in to view. But that is as far as I can figure. Can anyone help?

Login via the webpage of the Station,

Tools > Firmware > Upload Firmware ( Download the file from https://docs.lightningmaps.org/station-o.../firmware/ )

Once that has uploaded then click "Start Update"

It should reboot.

Thanks for the response. However, when I log into my device on my local network, nnn.nnn.nnn.112, I do not see anything labeled Tools. I have 'Login Status About' at the top and vertical sections labeled 'Tracker Amplifiers ... Other Parameters'. How do I find 'Tools | Firmware' ?

Then you will need to click on Login, then put in your username and password that you set when you setup the device. Then the other menus will be there.

I believe I am logged in.
How do I reset the login and password?

Sounds like you have 'web authorization' set, and are logging in as 'guest'...
You MAY have to to a 'factory reset'... and start over...

https://docs.lightningmaps.org/station-o...-by-button

"Connect the power and hold the BOOT1 button while doing a short push on the Reset button. Still hold the BOOT1 button and wait at least 5 seconds. You might also hear a beep shortly after reset and then again after 4-5 seconds. After you release BOOT1 the system should do a reset and start again with factory settings."

Then, simply download the appropriate firmware version to your computer, and on tools, upload the firmware bin file, wait for authorization, verification, and update.

Note: Upgraded your forum status to participant... you now have access to internal boards.

I was not logged in and had no indication of that. My login and password had failed. I restored to factory parameters, upgraded to the latest, and entered all the settings again. It is back online with new firmware. Somewhere along the line, the device seems to have defaulted to factory and there was no indication of that. Now I know if 'Settings' does not show on the web interface, I am not logged in.

It took a lot of searching to find how to restore factory defaults. Do this for BLUE boards after recording device's MAC address: 1). Remove board from case. 2). Apply DC power while holding down BOOT1 (not BOOT0). 3). Short press 'RESET'. 4). Continue to hold BOOT1 until after device beeps. 5). Find IP address in your router by matching MAC address. 6). Restore settings and save.

Case closed.
