Hi there, I´ve got a question on lightningmaps.org: Is it possible to change the location?
As far as I know, the location is determined automatically via IP address, consequently it can´t be changed manually. The problem is that sometimes this method is not very precise, e. g. in my case: According to my IP, I live more than 60 kilometres away from my home (I suppose that the IP address I use actually matches the place where my provider drives its server). This problem might concern many users since the IP location differs form your real position, too, if you use Tor, VPN or even if you live in the countryside.
In my opinion, it would be great if it was possible to enter a position so that your location (or any location) would be marked (like an IP location currently is marked).
 What do you think?
 Kind regards,
 Mic

HiSystem Blue - as a lot of folks use Wifi, rather than connect their 'devices' to internet by cable, is the USB connector 'smart' enough for me to hang a WiFi dongle (via an adapter cable, 'natch) to it? Or do I need to get a WiFi - CAT cable converter?
 Thanks
 Andy, Oulu, Finland.

Hi AllA bit of a continuation of my Lost Controller thread.
As someone suggested the Vonets wifi connection I thought I would try it. It's a much neater unit than the old access point I got working.  I managed the get the router to see the controller's IP but I can't get a connection through the browser. Also the network led pulses. Looking closely the Vonet rj45 plug seems only to have pins 2 and 3 connected.  So what are the pins used by the controller RJ45 network socket ?
 Regards
 Alan

				Hi AllBlue system windows 7
I have been trying to set up a shared network having changed from a wired to wireless network for the pc's. Obviously the controller has to stay on wired. Win 7 sets the lan adapter to an ip of 198.162.100.1 for a shared network so before doing this while I could still access the controller I set the dchp to enable and changed the ip to 198.162.100.10
Now if I ip scan the 100's I can no longer find the controller. Is there a way of doing a reset and what would the default ip then be. I have tried a power off and on but still no luck.
I am still getting a flashing network led although when I have made contact the data seems to be flowing OK (noise floor shows a continuous trace)
I'm rather stuck so HELP !!! Please !
 Regards
 Alan
