I'm very new to this Forum so here goes:
I'm heading for the Falkland Islands (VP8) very shortly. I don't think
there are many or any Blitzortung stations in Falklands nor that many
in South America. Hoping to obtain and set up a "Blue" station in VP8

South Atlantic is not the most dense area for lightning so may prove
interesting.

Hi All,

I live near Lisbon and there are 3 station near Lisbon, as I show you on my attached file.

A new Station (my home, marked with an arrow in attached file) make any sense ? Will improve lighting location accuracy. Or is not really importante ?

I would like to know your opinion.

The blue kit works with only two ferrite antennas?

Hi everybody.

Because I was wondering about the system blue status, I checked the website today (after not visiting blitzortung for a long while).
Surprise: system blue seems to be available.

That is good news.
However I never received an email from blitzortung, despite the fact that I signed up for it (getting an email as soon as system blue is available) more then once.
Are there more people who didn't get that email?

Hey folks

I've just fired up my old green system after a long time without the possibility to have it online. I can see that messages are received, coordinates are updated and my station is listed as online, but I don't see any signals in my user page as I did last time it were online.

I see a lot of PCB 6.X stations in running state, so my first guess were that they still work, but now I think I need confirmation that it still can submit data to the network?

If it should work, are there anything else I should try?

I am not able to source the 25 Mhz crystals from a US source that have same specs exact specs from the bit of looking I have done.

Is there anyway you can make both crystals SMD on a future revisions of the board and include them already mounted?

To day I looked at the last 24 hour historical data and found that at UTC 14:20 on May 4th thunder stopped/slowed down at exact same time all over the world. See attachment, and take a look for your self at the historical data page  

Can anybody explain this?

Our server provider seems to have again a problem with the internet connection. This is not a problem of blitzortung.org, so please do not write me an email to inform me about that.
