Archive data / Export to Google Earth
Posted by: Hoffmann - 2015-04-28, 11:13 - Forum: Website, Maps and Applications - Replies (7)

Hi!
In the last years we used the archive to export lightning data into Google Earth.
That doesn't work anymore. There is no button in the archive.
Is this function "under construction"?

Which possibilities do I have to export lightning data form a specific day in the past easily?

Thank you for your answers.

Exclamation Forum Update!
Posted by: Tobi - 2015-04-26, 19:55 - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (19)

Hi folks,

we've upgraded the forum software MyBB to the newest version. It would have been taken too much time to adjust the previous theme, so we've updated it to another one. Additionally the forum is running on a new server now.

Some minor adjustments have still to be done. I'm sure you will find all the hidden bugs sooner or later, but please don't forget to tell them to us. Wink

Have fun!

Just popping past to say Hi and Thanks!
Posted by: SeanNeedham - 2015-04-26, 08:22 - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (3)

Just popping in to say hello and thank you for a great resource.

The lightning data that the project provides has been invaluable to me for the last few years with what I do and whilst I'd love to get involved, where I live makes it difficult to locate a sensor system, but I'm a skilled PHP coder if that'd be any use!

Exclamation System Red no longer for sale
Posted by: JumpingJ - 2015-04-25, 10:38 - Forum: Hardware, Software, Lightning Physics - Replies (6)

Hi everybody,

I've bought a complete System Red kit last year (June 2014).
The kit consists of:

A.) Controller 10.4 kit (74.00 Euro)
B.) H-Field Amplifier 12.3c kit (31.95 Euro)
E.) Two 20cm ferrite rod antennas (45 Euro)
F.) STM32F4DISCOVERY board (20 Euro)
G.) External GPS antenna (SMA 5m) (20 Euro)

When I bought the kit I expected to have time to assemble it.
However, a year has passed by and the kit is still in it's original package.
I simply have no time for assembling System Red.

The announced System Blue will be available completely assembled.
Since I still want to participate in Blitzortung I'm going to switch to System Blue (as soon as it is available).
For these reasons I'm selling the complete System Red kit.
If somebody is interested in my System Red kit please send me a PM.

Offering price: € 170,00 (excluded delivery costs)

[EDIT]
If you have no need for E) and/or G)
The price for the kit will be without E) € 125,00
The price for the kit will be without G) € 150,00
The price for the kit will be without E) and G) € 105,00

Hi,
I have been looking at the data on the lightning maps website, and I was just wondering if anyone knows what and how the efficiency of the station is calculated?
Thanks. Kerri
