More system blue antenna questions |

I have read and reread the documentation but the antenna connections are ambiguous. Could someone please help me with some questions regarding the upcoming system blue.
1. Is it mandatory to have both e-field and h-field antennas? If not mandatory, is it advisable to have both?
2. I note system blue PCB 16.x has 3 sets of connectors for h-field antennas. Most frame/loop antennas I can find plans for only have two loops, so I assume one loop is connected to A-1 and A-2 and the other loop to B-1 and B-2. What are C-1 and C-2 for, another loop?
3. In the case of a simple loop antenna, what are the GND terminals on PCB 16.x for? Are they left not connected?
4. In the case of a coax cable antenna I assume the central conductors are connected to A-1 and B-1 and the shielding to GND. Is this correct?
Thanks!

Hi,
I am an amateur photographer and I am interested to take lightning photos. :-)
I am alone here at Blitzortung.com or there are more people with the same interest ?
I start to use Blitzortung.com to help me find lightning in real time.
In my country there aren't so many storms, and I read that Catatumbo River, Venezuela is the beste place in the wrould to see lightning storms.
Any ideas about this ? Some advices ?
Many thanks in advance !

System Blue Antennas |

Hi All Blitzortunger's
Can you Blitzortunger's point me in the direction of drawings / designs / plans for "non Ferrite" antennas.
Loop's or wire, I need to build up physically strong (Wind Proof) antennas for a Blue system here in Falkland Islands.
I have built up all sorts of antennas for Amateur radio use over the years so construction is not too much of a
problem. I can get hold of various sections of alloy tube, wire, insulated / non insulated in various diameters.

System Blue in VP8 |

Greetings all,
I'm very new to this Forum so here goes:
I'm heading for the Falkland Islands (VP8) very shortly. I don't think
there are many or any Blitzortung stations in Falklands nor that many
in South America. Hoping to obtain and set up a "Blue" station in VP8
South Atlantic is not the most dense area for lightning so may prove
interesting.
